Today at Softball, we were supposed to play against another school. But the softballers did not come so the other school had very few people. So the match did not take place( our coach said that they were very scared after seeing us overthrow so they neva come), instead, we played an internal match. The first team VS the rest of us. It was very close, but the team I was in lost 11:10. They bat first. By the 4th Bottom Inning, the score was 10:10, they managed to score 1 more run on the next inning. So we had to play the 5th Bottom inning. We could have won, the score was so close. The pressure was all on me. 2 Down, 2 balls, 2 strikes, the last ball was a strike so i had so swing, but spent too much time contemplating whether it was a ball or a strike so i swung late, hit it to first base man. He caught it and stepped on the first base, I out lah. Tons of pressure. i scored 2 Runs the 2 times i played. Very confusing play. Full base, I was at third, Luke at 1st, Tan Ghee at 2nd, Force Play, had to run. So i took a lead, Rueben got the ball and was confused, dunno which base to throw to, screwed-up. Gave me a chance to run, so i ran, ball coming, down i went, had to slide. I kicked the catcher in the shins by mistake, but got a run. Nice. 2nd time was much of an accident. I did not hear the coach, say 2 down must run, don't care. I was at 2nd base, running to 3rd. Luke hit to shortstop, Matthew Ge fumble, allowed the ball to roll pass. But i did not hear the coach, so i actually took a lead first before running, did not know just run no matter what. So i ran after the ball roll pass Matt. Running to third, ball coming to Arif already, see him getting ready to receive the ball so i panic... then once again, i went down, haha, kicked Arif in the shins as well, then he dropped the ball and let it roll to 'curry land' (swamp full of orange liquid, dunno what is it), so i got a free base, came home lah, 1 more run, even though i was hammered by the coach 4 not listening. But we still lost. Could have won though. This Friday we having another match. hope the other school does not repeat the same mistake as the school we were supposed to play today. Even though, it was rather fun playing an internal game. But the loser, us, had to buy the winning team a drink, $1 Drink... I spent $3 today...
