well i've finally decided to blog again. basically because phillip tieh was so adamant on the students keeping blogs for TOK.
we're supposed to pen down our thoughts and since i'm too lazy to write. i might as well revive my dead and decomposed blog.
well considering the fact that i have not blogged since before school started =/ i have my work cut out for me.
but i'm lazy. so i shall skip to interesting bits.
school started like... 18 days ago. we had orientation during the first 3 days of sch. which were the best days of the school year so far. made a couple of good friends with my og mates whom i hope i would not forget anytime soon.
running down the names of the people whom i can rmb were in my og. uhm. jiayan yanting ginny alex zhangyuan leonard eevin jim kenneth timlui kevin hoimeng krupa hanjie bryan james abishek kangping daniel marcusting arun zengjie samuel. i actually forgot the last two people on the list and had to refer. well sorry for you people being too insignificant.
in the end only a few of us hung out together often enough to be good friends. ah well you really cant expect all of us to become best buds and drink coffee together in old age.
the orientation games were pretty fun too. the ACSiting race was... a waste of money. we had to take the buses from location to location. my ezlink card is pissed. we had to dance the mass dance at ngee ann, do some igallop thing across the istana, take pictures with random hot people along orchard road, sing the school anthem at plaza sing, duck walk around the fountain of wealth, count the number of blocks on some sculpture behind millenium walk, and other random things which i cant recall right now. it was tiring but overall we had a good time.
we had the telematch on the last day which was by far the only time when we were able to bond together as an og. we had to go through some obstacle course and wow we got dirty. at one point we had to find a piece of macaroni in a plate of flour and pick it up with our mouths. everyone's face was covered in flour =/
we played the scissors paper stone hitting game and our red inflamed hands became the mark of og5. during the orientation dinner, the performance they lined up for us wasnt exactly top notch, with a bit of the choir and a few stage games. giny got called up to stage for the "who has the longest..." yeah she won cause she had such a long surname.
we had bridging for the entire of the subsequent week and after that we got split into our classes. refer to G's blog to see where everyone went cause i'm lazy to copy and paste it from her blog. i'm in 508 KINGS. for we are the kings of the world.
alex is in my class too. but even though our entire og is split up, we still find the time to meet each other during the breaks. we're quite detached yet close in a way.
i've got so many weird people in my class. i've got 5 geps/scholars and like 5 or 6 girls. i didnt pay attention to how many girls there were cause i was too preoccupied with counting how many geps i had to deal with =/
at least chin is in my class. and sam lee and kevin come into class for several lessons. and rachel koh is in my class. she's friendly and all but oh wow is she hyper. i sit beside her for econs and she hits me whenever i sleep in class to make me wake up. joey the baby kangaroo is in my class too. apparently it was her birthday on friday. and shafiq and the rest of her og got her this huge ass balloon. that was pretty cool. added a bit of colour to an otherwise dull friday morning.
we've got 4 other sc girls in our class too. alex, clarissa, tanya and charmaine. oh man. i did not realise that i've got 5 sc girls in my class til a moment ago. there's another tanjong katong and st nicks girl in my class. that means i've got 7 girls in my class. wow.
sorry i'm like realising how many people i have in my class as i go along. i actually have no freaking idea.
anyways this last bit is for my friend JIAYAN. cause i am about to tell her my blog url so i know she will read this. unless she's too lazy to read all the way to the bottom. which i am actually sure she is. well.
