centrestage 08!
was wonderful.
could be better. but was still wonderful.
wannabe terrorists werent as good as it was last year. with vinesh gone, there's alot of comic acting missing. and there were alot of random and useless scenes too. it was kinda expected that coffee shop would win. they actually had a plot we could all follow. and their accents werent so forced that we couldnt understand what they were saying.
so yeah. i think coffeeshop deserved to sweep. luke was really good too. he's dramatic by nature. and their plot was actually funny. and it actually flowed all the way til the end. unlike wannabe terrorist's. which had alot of random useless characters and lame jokes. yvonne was really good though. her accent was the only good one.
and so. that brings the exciting day to an end. wasnt as great as i thought it would be. anyways it wasnt such a good idea to create a sequel to the wannabe terrorist. it was definitely gonna be hard to live up to the name of the old wannabe terrorists. and i dont think they did that well in doing so.
considering why so many people kept wanting to be part of it, they kept adding new people to the script and had to keep changing it. like the flight stewardesses or the banglah workers. or the breakdancers. or the two random guys =.=
their play had funny jokes. but their plot was really messy. it was more of a stand up comedy than a comedic play.
hmm. my 2 cents worth.
oh yeah. saw shihui there too. funny story. i didnt recognise her. and she didnt recognise me. til we were walking across the traffic junction til she was like. you look like nicholas. and i just stared cause it was dark and i was tired.
okay fine not so funny story. it was funnier then =/
