well i am forced to blog due to popular demand. popular meaning a popular person wants me to blog. not because many people want me to blog. and that popular person knows who she is cause she said she visited my blog 30seconds ago and realised that i havent been blogging. and she likes to post pictures on her blog.
everyone already knows how much i love to blog.
so i shall... fulfil her wish. and let her experience my excellent command of the english language first hand.
firstly. i'd like to say that although under normal circumstances, would the same thing still happen, i still dont think that alastair chew should have been fired. considering his level of intellect and what a kickass teacher he is. even though he badmouthed drong on his blog. drong should understand that everyone is allowed their own opinion. although blogs are meant for the public to read, so are opinions.
opinions are meant to be heard. the truth hurts but someday u have to hear what others think of you. sure under normal circumstances an employee would be fired if he badmouths his boss. sure under normal circumstances employees shouldnt harbour any hate towards his boss. but still. in reality everyone hates everyone. it's just how little u hate him or how much u hate him.
call me a pessimist and i'll call you a stupid. i'm just being a realist.
therefore i feel that alastair chew shouldnt have been sacked. it's not his fault he finds the institution slightly flawed and has his own opinions on how things should be done. like i said. everyone is allowed their own opinions. it's up to you whether u accept them or not. if u do. good for you, both parties can accept it and grow together. if u dont, then dont be such a prick and take such severe action, you dont HAVE to accept his opinions. you dont even have to listen to it.
however, looking at both sides of the coin, mr chew should not have done what he did. this was a long time coming. just didnt know it would come so soon. at least i've had the pleasure of being lectured in tok and pod by him, at least i've had the pleasure of listening to his acs propaganda talks. damn i'll miss those talks. he was the binding force that kept the acs spirit alive. no other teacher can replace him.
it still pains me to see him go under such short notice. drong was way too harsh on him. he only gave him 24 hrs to leave the sch. it feels like a death in the family. a death in the acs family. with a big gaping hole where the storyteller should be.
damn. i should write books.
anyways. just wanted to say that it's quite sad that the hype in my class has died down to near death level. with so many people leaving the class and some random people entering. it's hard to foster proper class spirit. we're doing all we can as the class com. even though i doubt the discipline heads have anything to do with the class =/
yes you heard me. i am a discipline head. one of two.
and yes. you the girl i am writing this post for. tell me more about your stalker! the guy who used to be in your class but transferred out. sadly. now the stories of your fear is gonna be significantly lesser.
and if u say you're gonna come online more often. please come online more often =/
or i'll hate you for life.
and i've tagged at your blog. and keep to the deal ya?
or i'll hate you for life.
then again. you'd never hate me (:
