HAHA. i know this might be a little late.
but sharapova got knocked out in the second round. and i am quite amused at the fact that she's world number 3. and she lost to kudryavtseva, who is like world number 154.
dont u love the irony of it all.
and if u actually watched the game after the first set (which sharapova had lost magnificently 6-2), you'd have never realised that sharapova was losing. sure her grunts and screams were getting louder, but she seemed more composed and was laying nice shots. kudryavtseva even served like 3 or 4 double faults. very very surprising.
and ivanovic also had such a hard time getting into the next round. it was such a close game. she won 7-6 6-7 10-8. the fact that she had to push so hard to beat dechy. i doubt she'd be able to win wimbledon.
oh wow. yahoo news. "Zheng upsets No. 1 Ivanovic at Wimbledon". i did NOT read this. heh. i knew she wouldnt get very far after playing like shit with dechy. she lost 6-1 6-4. hmm. what a magnificent defeat.
and federer just simply annoyed the shit out of gicquel. 6-3 6-3 6-1. you dont mess with the federer. just cause other top players are dropping like flies out of wimbledon doesnt mean federer will follow. andy roddick, djokovich, sharapova, ivanovic, ferrer, mauresmo.
i think after the game with ivanovic, zhengjie has a chance of winning =/
scary. it'd be the first time a chinese wins wimbledon. lol
and i wonder what happened to nadal, he's been out of the news lately.
